Unfortunately Bridal Creeper now poses one of the biggest threats to our precious local species across most of Southern Australia and is recognised as a weed of national significance.

Bridal creeper is starting to pop up in a number of locations.  Having escaped from gardens in the late 1800s there’s no stopping this highly invasive weed. 

Controlling Apple of Sodom(Solanum linnaeanum)- A declared pest weed in Western Australia:

Drooping tree pear (Opuntia monacantha) in Oldfield River, Ravensthorpe.
